"Being a Positive Athlete has been one of the most impactful things I have had the opportunity to be a part of. The journey of an athlete is oftentimes seen as an individual endeavor, even though it is anything but that. This program has been able to uplift the voices of those who are just as passionate about their sport as I am. It has also shown me how I am taking steps in the right direction for positive change, and instilled a confidence in me that I wouldn’t have found on my own. The successes or “failures” in my sport aren’t what make me continue to go to practice every day; it's my community. The community that instilled every single one of my core values into me, from humility to discipline, and being a Positive Athlete has helped me join a community who also believe in those qualities."

"In 2017, I was recognized as the “Most Positive Football Athlete” in Georgia through Positive Athlete and decided to represent the group during My Cause My Cleats in 2025. Many kids have talent to make it to the next level but not the resources. Groups like Positive Athlete who support kids, helping them achieve their goals, is important."

"As a 2-time Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year candidate, I know how being nominated spurred me to give back even more. Positive Athlete is a similar program that encourages the 10 million boys and girls playing high school sports in America in the same way, with scholarships and character development resources. Positive Athlete aims to recognize, empower and connect high character athletes in sports across the country, something I get behind."
